I know it has been a while since our last posting. It has been especially difficult for me to come and post, since our last posting it seemed life could not be better. It is amazing how in only a few minutes your world can turn completely upside down. Jon and I are completely grateful to all our family and friends. We thank you for all your prayers, and phone calls, emails and flowers.. well I especially like the flowers, even if the reason kind of sucks. We know our little boy is in heaven, healthy and strong and that is all we ever could have wanted for him.
As many of you know we entered escrow a few weeks ago. I will post a better picture of the house soon. Hopefully with pics of the inside.. finished. :) Our closing date as of now is April 25th, but we are thinking of bumping it up a week. The house should be finished by the end of March.
The weather has also finally started to change. Ever since the middle of January there has been lots of snow or freezing temps, and freezing out here is like 0 and under. Bitterly cold. The price we pay to see the sun, is heat. However, the last five days it has been sunny and every day it gets a few degrees warmer. It's about 35 today and sunny. It is nice to have some of the ice melt away and be outside and feel the heat from the sun. Our seasonal snowfall has pushed past 90 inches. When Jon and I first moved we were told our seasonal average was 36 inches.... go figure. We have literally survived the worst winter Wisconsin has ever seen. Feels good to know that a couple of people born and raised from So Cal can survive just about anything, even cold weather. :)

Hey Guys,
We're really surprised up here that you got that much snow too, our average is 70 and we're at 95, so it's not too much past what we expect, but you guys have had to have been real troopers to make it. Congratulations, spring is coming!!! Keep blogging, love to read the good news. Maybe we'll get to see you for painting and a little road trip! Love B
