Moving Day

Moving Day has come and gone. Everything went so smoothly. We made two trips but it only took a couple of hours with all the help. As soon as we were finished the fridge arrived.... our very FIRST brand new fridge.... and when that was over.. more painting began. Both bedrooms as you can see are finished. I finished the kitchen last night and am very pleased with the results. :) I didnt really do anything today because I have looming deadlines this week and had to work, but tomorrow morning I will do a little more painting before I hit the drawing board. I also will do a video tour very soon... at least when everything is painted so you can all see. Things are just crazy hectic now.... I probably wont even unpack till next weekend. And all of this is still bittersweet.. we all wish you could be here with us to enjoy our new house too!

Happy Anniversary

Yuppers, that's right. Exactly one year ago, we crossed the state line into Wisconsin. We closed escrow on our house yesterday. I wish I could say escrow was a breeze, and you would think I would know better this being my third one, but it wasn't. Escrow sucks, even until the last second. Fortunately its over, and now we can enjoy all the rewards of being a homeowner, and all the burdens that come with it. :) Our first burden is painting, I will be posting lots of pic in the next few weeks so everyone can see our progress. We move on Saturday and will have lots of help.... thankfully. The pics below are Matthew and Raeden's bedroom, our room and the laundry room. I would write more but I am literally so exhausted from painting and working I can't even think straight. :)
